Crystal Clear
I stare at the mountains.
I can’t go there
the snow’s too deep,
the trip too dear
a coyote yelp
I hear
He will go there
his pleasure I will know
as he plays in the snow
music to my ear
echos to my soul
I’ll sip my beer
smoke a bowl
and love the mountains
crystal clear.
